# Add to My Telegram Group?

Telegram allows users to add bots to a group or a channel, which enables them automatically broadcast messages there.

This quick guide will help you through the process of creating a Telegram channel for iCryptoAI's smart alerts.

First of all, you need a group or channel in which you are an **owner** or **admin**. In case you do not have one, you can create one in your Telegram Menu.

After that, you need to add [@icryptoaibot](https://t.me/icryptoaibot) to your community. To add a bot or enable it to send messages in a Telegram group or channel, you have to set it as the group/channel's **admin**.

Allow the bot to broadcast messages in your community. Now simply post the message `/chat_id` and right-click to the ID.

All it takes now is to paste the ID above to this section in your alert config and Save.
